Frequently Asked Questions

How does the column mirroring work?

Page 1 prints the question side left-to-right. Page 2 prints the answer side with the columns reversed (right-to-left). When you flip the paper on the long (left) edge, each answer lands directly behind its question.

Do I need a duplex printer?

No. You can manually print page 1, flip the paper, and feed it back in for page 2. The column mirroring ensures correct alignment for long-edge flipping.

What if my printer flips on the short edge?

Use the main Flashcard Maker at flashcardprint.com and manually arrange backs to match your printer's flip direction. Short-edge presets may be added in a future update.

Can I turn off double-sided and print single-sided?

Yes — toggle the "Double-sided" switch to off. The preview and print output will revert to question-only cards (single page).

Are my cards saved?

No. All processing happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored. Close the tab and the cards are gone.
